Executive Alumni Appointments Forum 2024

Tel Aviv University Alumni Organization continues the tradition of saluting its prominent alumni who were appointed to key positions across all sectors of Israel society over the past year in a meeting with the university president—Prof. Ariel Porat

The meeting, which took place at the university president's office, and was chaired by the President, Prof. Ariel Porat, included the following alumni:

  • Uri Levin - CEO of the Tidhar Group

  • Adv. Eyal Shohat - CEO of TopGum Industries

  • Alon Stopel - Chairman of the Innovation Authority

  • Amnon Merhav - General Director of The Ministry of Economy and Industry

  • Gabriel Wiseman - CEO of Nova

  • Yair Mashiach - Secretary-General of Israel Philharmonic Orchestra

  • Igal Shany - Partner at Viola Growth fund

  • Adv. Anat Bonshtein - Partner at Mobilion Ventures fund

  • Adv. Anat Bernstein-Reich - President of Israel-Asia Chamber of Commerce and CEO of the Israel-India Investment Banking Company in the BDO Group Israel

  • Raz Frohlich - CEO of ORT (the largest educational network in Israel)

 

Prof. Porat thanked those present and talked about the importance of the different positions they hold. He also surveyed the university's activities during the war and pointed out how valuable the alumni's involvement is especially in such times.

 

Amos Elad, TAU VP of Public Affairs, Resource Development & Alumni Affairs, addressed the alumni by saying that:

 

"We are proud of you. You are our ambassadors in Israel and around the world"

 

Sigalit Ben Hayoun, head of the Tel Aviv University Alumni Organization, said to the alumni:

 

"Thanks to you, Tel Aviv University alumni community is a world-changing community."
