The launch took place at the Tel Aviv residence of British businessman and philanthropist Jeremy Coller. The event was held in the presence of TAU President Prof. Ariel Porat, Chairwoman of the TAU Board of Governors Dafna Meitar-Nechmad, and Rear Admiral (Res.) The morning opened with remarks from Prof. Ariel Porat, followed by an insightful interview with Daniel Hagari conducted by Yifat Oron, President of the Israeli Friends of TAU and an alumna of the Coller School of Management.
The event also featured a panel with three TAU students who recently served in the reserves, moderated by Prof. Drorit Neumann, Dean of Students at Tel Aviv University.

Rear Admiral (Res.) Daniel Hagari shared during the event:
"The core missions of the IDF Spokesperson are to strengthen public trust in the IDF and to build international legitimacy for the IDF's use of force. On October 7th, that trust was damaged, and it had to be rebuilt and restored. An army without public trust during wartime cannot navigate such a crisis. This remains the central mission. Today the current IDF Spokesperson, Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin, and the entire IDF Spokesperson’s Unit continue to work tirelessly toward this goal successfully."
