Shalom,

Five years ago we decided to establish the Tel Aviv University Alumni Organization, with the knowledge and the confidence that you, our alumni, are an immense resource, proudly representing TAU all around the world. Your successes, and your very presence in every possible field, are a source of immense pride and a testament to the stellar level of education provided by our university, enhancing our reputation globally.

You serve as government ministers, Members of Knesset and judges in Israel's courts of law at the highest levels; scholars and prominent cultural figures, senior-level executives in a variety of industries; faculty members in academic institutions, entrepreneurs and influential business leaders.

Your achievements and contributions present Israel to the world as an advanced, innovative country, a land that is a rich source of highly diverse new ideas and intellectual pluralism.

Each and every one of you is party to TAU's success, and as its alumni you have the ability to impact society, both in Israel and worldwide.

Maintaining our connection with you is extremely important to us. The continually growing social network of TAU alumni stretches across continents, facilitating beneficial connections in many different areas.

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented us all with numerous personal and professional challenges. However, coming together and using our strengths and connections to find ways to cope with this global crisis can serve as fertile ground for the sprouting of new ideas, inventions and goals that can ultimately serve the whole of humanity.

We warmly welcome your input and ideas about our activities and common endeavors, and how they can be enriched. I personally invite you to contact me to discuss your thoughts on how to make our global alumni network stronger, and how we can work together to keep TAU at the forefront of academic excellence.

Wishing you and yours good health, and hoping that we will be able to meet soon on campus in the near future.

Sincerely yours,

Amos Elad

TAU Vice President of Public Affairs, Resource Development & Alumni Affairs
