Executive Alumni Appointments Forum 2022
The Tel Aviv University Alumni Organization continues the tradition of saluting the institution’s senior alumni who took up their positions in the past year
Towards the end of the year and in the atmosphere of the Hanukkah holiday, a meeting was held with TAU alumni who were appointed to leading positions in 2022, chaired and hosted by the University’s President, Prof. Ariel Porat.
The meeting was attended by, with a dominant female presence:
Dina Ben Tal, CEO at EL AL Israeli Airlines, an alumna of the Coller School of Management
Colonel Yael Grossman, Commander of the Lotem unit in the IDF, an alumna of Sackler Faculty of Exact Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering
Hilik Sharir, CEO of channel Keshet 12, the Keshet Media Group, an alumnus of the Buchman Faculty of Law
Dr. Maor Maman, CEO of the Emek Medical Center, alumnus of the Coller School of Management
Adv. Ayelet Nahmias-Verbin, Chairwoman of the Israel Export Institute, an alumna of the Buchman Faculty of Law
Nufar Malovani, Deputy CEO of Clal Industries, an alumna of Coller School of Management and Buchman Faculty of Law
Prof. Porat thanked the attendees and addressed the importance of the senior positions held by alumni, saying that Tel Aviv University places the highest priority on its alumni, who are the institution’s best ambassadors worldwide. He also noted the importance of the university’s connection with industry in Israel.
Amos Elad, Tel Aviv University's Vice President for Resource Development, Public Affairs, and Alumni, mentioned that the alumni have made a huge contribution to the university's success.
Sigalit Ben Hayoun, Head of the Tel Aviv University Alumni Organization, said: “Thanks to you, the university’s alumni community is a community that changes the world”.
