The Tel Aviv University Alumni Organization, headed by Sigalit Ben Hayoun, launched the “When Academy Meets Industry” series of meetings, in which senior industry figures and university alumni host a group of young graduates and present to them the employment options available to them after completing their studies.
At the series’ launch meeting, Omer Keilaf, Co-Founder and CEO of Innoviz Technologies, an alumnus of Tel Aviv University’s Faculty of Engineering and Coller School of Management, hosted approximately 20 university alumni for a personal conversation and a comprehensive tour of the company’s headquarters in Rosh Ha Ayin.

The participants, alumni of the Faculty of Engineering, Coller School of Management and the Faculty of Humanities, heard from Omer Keilaf about the vision he had when he founded the company in 2016 and how he led Innoviz to become a world leader in the development and production of sensors for autonomous vehicles.
Sigalit Ben Hayoun: “The active community of Tel Aviv University alumni has over 90,000 members and is growing steadily every year at a rate of 10% growth. Many of the university’s alumni are currently in key positions in the Israeli economy and maintain a warm relationship with the academic institution that trained them at the beginning of their journey.
As a result, we approached several leading alumni and asked them to host our young alumni team. To our great delight, the response was quick. We thank Omer Keilaf for his willingness to launch this unique project at his company and are excited about the next meetings”.
