The Tel Aviv University Alumni Organization, led by Sigalit Ben Hayoun, continues with the series of events called “When Academia Meets Industry”, in which university alumni who have risen to senior positions in the Israeli economy host recent graduates and present to them the employment options available to them after completing their studies.
At this event, Udy Danino, Founder and CEO of SAIPS, which was acquired by the global Ford Corporation, an alumnus of the Faculty of Engineering and the School of Computer Science, and a member of the Alumni Advisory Committee, hosted a group of university alumni for a personal conversation and a tour at the company’s headquarters in Tel Aviv.

The participants, alumnae and alumni of the Faculty of Engineering, the School of Management and the School of Computer Science, heard about the challenges and successes in the field of Machine Learning, about the solutions that SAIPS has developed and is developing for such challenges, and about its contribution to the field of autonomous cars at Ford.
The alumni had a personal conversation with Danino, received a practical demonstration of the company’s work, and met the company’s human resources department to be exposed to the opportunities open to them.
