The Metaverse and the New Internet

From the words of Moshe Radman:

“I thank the Tel Aviv University Alumni Organization for the opportunity to return to the university after quite a few years and deliver up-to-date and relevant content to our alumni community. I was pleased to see the conference. This indicates a correct reading of the map and an understanding that the metaverse is not just “another” technology, but a cardinal change to the internet as we know it, and nothing less than a revolution.

I have every hope and faith that this revolution, like many others, will be led by alumni of Tel Aviv University, among others, particularly and the entrepreneurial community in Israel in general.”

During the lecture, Radman spoke about various pillars of the metaverse, including key definitions such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), extended reality (XR), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), blockchain, and more. Also, the connection and relationship between current internet platforms (such as Roblox, Minecraft, Fortnite, etc.) and the metaverse as we imagine it in a few years were discussed at that event, as well as the various options with which we can start creating friction with the metaverse today-as parents, as career men and women, as businesses and in general.

As he recommended during the lecture, he wanted to emphasize that the most important thing that can be done right now is to learn and delve deeper into the various content related to the metaverse, and here are some great places to start:
