The Psychology of Money

The Tel Aviv University Alumni Organization, in collaboration with the Student Success Center at Tel Aviv University, hosted a lecture on the topic of "The Psychology of Money" with Prof. Dan Ariely, an alumnus of the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Social Sciences at Tel Aviv University.

The fascinating lecture, which took place at the Bar Shira Auditorium on campus and included hundreds of alumni and students, was held as part of the Financial Literacy Program—a joint initiative of the two organizations—which aims to provide students with tools and independent thinking for informed financial management, accompanied by TAU Alumni personal mentors.

 

The Psychology of Money: What influences our economic decisions, what causes us to spend or save, what common mistakes do we make when managing our money, and most importantly, how can we improve!

 

 

About the Lecturer, Prof. Dan Ariely: One of the world's leading researchers in the field of behavioral economics. His groundbreaking research focuses on decision-making, motivation, and judgment errors. He is the author of bestsellers such as "Predictably Irrational" and "The Honest Truth About Dishonesty." Prof. Ariely lectures at Duke University and serves as a consultant to leading global organizations.
