The event featured Orna Goren, Head of Communications & Public Relations of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange; Yaron Malka, Tour Coordinator at the Banking Supervision Department at Bank of Israel Visitors Center and alumnus of the Faculty of Law, Tel Aviv University; and other distinguished alumni.

Under the leadership of Sigalit Ben Hayoun, the Tel Aviv University Alumni Organization is committed to engaging the next generation. For the second consecutive year, it organized this unique family activity in collaboration with the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and the Bank of Israel, focusing on the topic of family finance.

Orna Goren shared valuable insights with alumni and their children about the operations of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange during Israel’s challenging period. Yaron Malka led an enriching and entertaining session about the history of money and the role of the Bank of Israel. The children were captivated, asked many questions, and learned information they had never encountered before.

Among the alumni present was Or Celkovnik, Editor-in-Chief of the Walla! news site and an alumnus of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Tel Aviv University, who attended with his young son. The boy showed great curiosity, asking numerous questions about investments in oil and gas.

Sigalit Ben Hayoun, Head of the Tel Aviv University Alumni Organization:
"Following last summer’s success, we once again held a family event for Tel Aviv University alumni at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and the Bank of Israel, fostering connections between alumni families and providing valuable financial education. We are proud to contribute to enriching and educating the next generation. The event was a great success, and it was wonderful to see the excitement of both the teenagers and their parents, as well as the new tools the children gained. This year’s event was another milestone, and we look forward to continuing this tradition next year."
