Executive Alumni Appointments Forum December 2024

This week, on the sixth candle of Hanukkah, the annual meeting of Tel Aviv University President Prof. Ariel Porat was held with senior TAU Alumni who were appointed to leading positions in 2024

The event was held at the  Tel Aviv University President’s office, with notable Alumni: Oren Helman, CEO of Israel Gulf Chamber of Commerce and Innovation, Itai Yacov, CEO of Menora Mivtachim Pension, Yohanan Mali, General Manager of Ministry of the Negev, Galilee and National Resilience, Lior Eshkol, Director of Operations in Global Strategic Markets at Wolt, Nataly Mishan-Zakai, CEO of Gav-Yam, Shay Alaluf, City Engineer of Ramat Hasharon, and Sharon Kedmi, CEO of the Israeli Airports Authority.

 

This is the third year in a row that the  Tel Aviv University President has hosted, congratulated and honored, leading key people in the economy, who took up their positions during the past year, all of whom are alums and alumnae of Tel Aviv University.

 

The Tel Aviv University President, Prof. Ariel Porat, shared the university’s many challenges over the past year, including retaining members and faculty, returning Israeli doctoral and postdoctoral students to the country, supporting reserve soldiers both financially and academically, combating the global boycott movement against Israeli academia, and dealing with repeated attempts by the government and the Knesset to harm academic freedom and freedom of speech at universities.
