The Tel Aviv University Alumni organization, under the leadership of Sigalit Ben Hayoun, continues to strengthen the bond between academia and industry. Through this initiative, prominent figures from various sectors welcome the university's recent alumni, showcasing the diverse professional opportunities awaiting them upon completing their studies.

A personal encounter took place with Dror Bin, CEO of the Innovation Authority, an alumnus of the Coller School of Management at Tel Aviv University. He addressed a meeting of young alumni from different faculties. Mr. Bin shed light on the future of the Israeli tech industry in a time of uncertainty, detailing the current state of Israeli high-tech, its human capital, and the technological fields that hold promise for integration.

Mr. Bin emphasized key developments in the evolution of the startup nation. He engaged with the activities of the Innovation Authority and presented data underscoring the significance of the high-tech sector for the Israeli economy. Furthermore, he highlighted the essential diversity required in tech investment domains within Israel.

He also illustrated how the Innovation Authority prepares for the waves of future technology, by investing across various sectors such as climate tech, artificial intelligence, bio-convergence, and quantum computing.

Sigalit Ben Hayoun, Head of the Tel Aviv University Alumni Organization, noted, "Our active community of over 100,000 alumni continues to grow each year. Many of our alumni now hold major roles in Israel's economy while maintaining a warm connection with the academic institution that prepared them. As a result, we reach out to leading alumni, requesting them to host our young alumni. This time, we were privileged to have Mr. Dror Bin, CEO of the Innovation Authority, respond to our special request. We extend our gratitude to Mr. Bin for sharing his vision and perspective on the world of high-tech with our aspiring young alumni."
